Who can rent devices from BackClick?

Our device rental solutions are available to everyone. BackClick’s customer base includes:

  • MNCs and Big Corporate Companies
  • Small Businesses, Partnerships Firms, and Limited Companies
  • Charities, Public Bodies, Government Associations (Schools, Councils etc.)
  • Individuals and Start-up Companies etc.

Can I rent for any period I choose?

Yes, you can! You can Rent any of our devices on a Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Yearly Basis. We specialize in renting for both short-term & long-term needs. The minimum Rental is for one day going up to a year.

Is Renting expensive?

Absolutely not! In fact, opting for rental allows you to optimize cash management while giving you predictability of expenses over the year. With BackClick’s rental solutions, you can focus your investments on your business growth by freeing up working capital for general expenses, inventory and any unforeseen emergencies. Moreover, your team and employees will benefit from state-of-the-art devices that are always efficient and updated with the latest technologies that ensure higher productivity for your business.

Why is short-term rental expensive as compared to long-term rental?

With any rental, whether it’s for a month or for a longer period we have a fixed overhead cost for getting the equipment prepared, raising paperwork, dispatching, invoicing and checking equipment on return. With a short-term rental, these costs are spread over a very short period, whereas, on a long-term rental these are over a far longer period.

If a competitor is offering you short-term rental at very low rates, then you should ask yourself what sort of support service can he offer. Our fixed costs represent a realistic charge based on maintaining considerable resources of staff and equipment to support our customers. If others offer lower costs, then perhaps you will be receiving a lower quality of service.

Can I get Insurance coverage for equipment during the rental period?

No, unfortunately, due to present legislation, we cannot provide any form of insurance cover for items on rental. This is an area we are constantly looking at and some level of service may be available in the future.

At present, you should ensure that you have existing cover through your buildings/content policies or arrange specific cover with your insurance broker.

Remember you are responsible for the safekeeping and return of our products. Failure to do so can result in charges for repair and/or replacement up to the full value of the product.

What are all these Rental Terms and Conditions?

When you rent equipment from us you are entering into a contract where you pay money and we provide services. As with any contract the terms and conditions are there so both parties know what to expect from each other.

What about GST on Rental Products?

GST is not included as part of the monthly rental charges. GST will be charged extra as applicable depending upon the Products.

Can I Repair/Modify/Upgrade the equipment that I have rented?

No alterations/repairs/upgradation or modification of any sort should be made without the written permission of BackClick.

What to do if the rental equipment is totally broken/stolen from the customer’s end?

Where equipment has been stolen and/or damaged beyond repair, the full replacement value of the goods will be charged to the customer.

Rental costs will be terminated as soon as you advise us, at which point payment is required for the equipment. If payment is not made, then rental rates will continue until a settlement is made in full.

No discount will be given to reflect any rental payment or the age of the equipment.

Does the rental support cover me if I catch a virus in my Rental Products?

As we do not provide any Software, we do not provide support related to Viruses or Hacking. Anti-Virus Support is not covered under the standard rental support.

Do you also repair the rental equipment?

Yes, we do repair all our rental equipment. For more information regarding this, you can contact our sales representatives.

What happens if I lose my data during the repair of the product in case of a default?

We recommend you keep a daily backup of your data. The responsibility for your data is not covered under our repair policy. It is recommended that you should take a backup of your data before the equipment goes for repair.

What if I don't see what I require?

If the product you need is not on the Website, then please call us and speak to our sales executive, or fill in our inquiry form, as we keep on adding new Rental Products to our catalogue.

In addition, we are always looking to expand our product range so just because you do not see it does not mean we cannot provide it. Get in touch with us and let us know your exact requirements and desired rental duration, and we will try and help you.

Can I get additional software?

BackClick primarily supplies IT Hardware only. Due to the vast range of software available and options we do not provide software other than the basics operating system i.e. Linux or DOS bootable HDD.

What information do you require to provide a quotation?

In order to provide an accurate quotation, we need:

  • Your details such as name, company, email address, contact number and website URL.
  • Equipment requirements such as device specifications, quantity required and rental duration.

Why do you need all this information?

We need all this information so that we can:

  • Share the best possible customized quotation with you.
  • Contact you even if one or two methods of contacting you don’t work.
  • Trust you, and your company because it ensures that we have more confidence in the fact that you actually exist and are a legitimate customer.
  • Safeguard our Company because unfortunately renting out highly attractive portable pieces of IT equipment makes us a target for a number of illegal activities and individuals whose main aim is to relieve us of our equipment.

What information will be in the quote?

Our quote normally contains:

  • Pricing
  • Specification
  • Delivery/Collection cost
  • Terms & Conditions

What if you cannot supply the products I need?

If at the point of order, we cannot supply the items required we will try and substitute these with an alternative product of equal or higher specification. This will be at no additional cost to you.

In most cases, once an order is placed and availability is confirmed there should be no problems. However, circumstances can occur where even at this stage BackClick reserves the right to supply a replacement product.

What If I need to cancel my order?

You will be entitled to cancel the order placed with us; only if your product is not yet shipped by us. Once the product is shipped, we shall not accept cancellation requests. Why do I need to pay an additional security deposit?

We trust that you will handle the items with utmost care but the deposit acts as a safety net for the lender in case something goes wrong. The deposit builds trust and increases the incentive for the lender to share his/her item. BackClick will initiate the refund of the deposit as soon as we receive the products from the customer.
